Cheeky little thing😝

and welcome back to my blog. In my maths group this week, we have been learning about Factors and multiples. Now all of it was pretty easy, except for one cheeky( 😝) slide. 

Anyway's, today for my blog post I have decided to create a DLO on what I have learnt. I hope you have something to take away from this video, you might even be able to solve that cheeky question.

and welcome back to my blog. So far this term my group has been working on converting and ordering fractions and decimals. Today was our last sesion, and my group really had to push because we had a lot to do. But we made it and I actually learned a lot, I have gained enough knowledge to work around questions I used to struggle with.

Digging deeper in the decimals

And welcome back to my blog. Today in math I started a new workbook based on decimals, I haven't yet finished but right now I am working on rounding up large decimals. Down below is a few slides of my work today, I am really enjoying it. And I hope you enjoy reading my post...

A bed just for math ;D

For the past two weeks in rimu, the squadrillateral's have been working on negative numbers. And part of that work was learning about BEDMAS. BEDMAS is and acronym to help remember an order of operations in algebra basics. B- brackets  E- exponentes   D- division    M- multiplication   A- addittion   S- subtraction. 

This is a DLO (digital learning object) that I have created about BEDMAS. Do you know what BEDMAS is? If you do, did you find it hard learning about?

Number overload=🤕

In rimu this week my Maths group the sqaudralatarals, have been learning about: Mean, Mode, Median, range, and average. It's actually really easy once you get the hang of it, (lots of numbers though). But in order to learn this, you do need your division skills. Are you up for it?

I totally enjoyed Maths this week. Because  I learnt a lot of new things,  things that I would normally avoid in maths.  But when I learned how to work it out, it actually was pretty easy. And now I am sharing my knowledge with others.

Tiny houses??!!!

This week at YMS it is math’s week! And in Rimu we have started a project on tiny houses. Through that, we learned area and perimeter. Which was pretty easy, because it was mainly adding and times tables.

In the next few slides are the steps we had to go through. And a video that can teach you area and perimeter.

Optical art

This week for maths in rimu we have been making optical art. Optical art consists of geometric shapes and patterns, and is often coloured in black and white. This type of art creates illusions, leaving the viewer with the impression that objects are moving, vibrating, pulsating, or warping. I hope you enjoy reading my slide. Jedi =)

Today in rimu we have been making 3D star wars figures, for it is The fourth of may. This is a picture of mine. It was also a star wars theme dress up. Some of my friends and I were stormtrooper's.  This is a photo of me and my friend Nikita. 😸

Do you like watching Star wars? I have never watched it. But I do love dressing up. And if you had a star wars dress up at your school, what would you dress up as? This is one of my BFF's , Julia. 😆
