Amazing Aotearoa🐣

Summer learning journey , Week one Activity #1

  Amazing Aotearoa...

I made this presentation in under half an hour, using Pontchartrain. Piktochart is a fun and easy way to present any type work.
But if you are looking for other sites that you might eb able to present on, I would suggest,

Canva, Flip-snap, Prezi and powtoon.

I found this really easy to put together. But maybe putting some things in my own words were a bit hard.

Now most people don't know this but, did you know that the nick name for our very own country is. "The land of the long white clouds"

New Zealand is the first country in the world to see a new day. Our East Cape is situated just under 500km from the international dateline, meaning we are living in the future!

The New Zealand flag hasn't always been our official flag. It was adopted in 1902 amidst the pomp and patriotism of the South African War. For six decades before that, the Union Jack fluttered from New Zealand's flagpoles. But even that wasn't our first flag.

Hey you!

If you would like to read more on our amazing country Aotearoa. Than you might want to take a peek at these sites...

Do you have any facts of your own? Well why don't you share them with me, just note them down in the comments below. You can do the same with any other comments you might have.

IMPORTANT POINT!

This presentation was created using Piktochart. Piktochart is a fun and easy way to present your work. You should try it out for yourself!

Have a Great

We went paddle boarding

On the 5th of december 2018, the YMS year 7-8's went paddle boarding.  It was awesome!

These are some photos from our paddle boarding trip...

I hope you enjoyed that...
