Hero Reward time

Our school is divided into four groups, called houses. Hillary, Edger, Rutherford, and Ormsby. Each house has to reach a certain amount of points and we are rewarded. In each house, we vote, for our reward. And then come's Hero Reward time! I am in Hillary house, and we chose Freetime and Cookie Decorating. Do you have a system like this in your school? and what would you want as your reward?

Post test

Elmsmere speech comp

                          

On Monday evening the 3rd or September. My friend Piper and I drove to Lincoln primary school. Because we got in for the Elmsmere speech comp, and we were representing our school. It was totally amazing! And this is a slide all about it. Hope you enjoy =)

Waste not, want not

                               

This week our class had gone on a trip to the eco drop and sort. Our class was split into two groups. One group went in the morning, and the other in the afternoon. I made this slide based on our trip. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Tiny houses??!!!

This week at YMS it is math’s week! And in Rimu we have started a project on tiny houses. Through that, we learned area and perimeter. Which was pretty easy, because it was mainly adding and times tables.

In the next few slides are the steps we had to go through. And a video that can teach you area and perimeter.

Refugee reading work!! ;)

                     

Every week in rimu we read a book as a class. And this week we had started a book Called "Refugee" which was written by Alan Gratz. It is a really sad book, but it helps you get a picture of what is happening in the world right now.
