Porci-Chilla?!

Hey Guys!

Guess what, do you remember what the summer learning journey is? Well, these July holiday's I (along with other students) will be participating in a smaller version of that. And it is called: U.M learning journey which stands for Ura Manuka learning journey.

We have a list of  20 activities that we can complete, in no exact order or style. And we may do as many as we like.
I have decided to start with the second activity,  (down below).

I created this presentation on Visme, which is a great site to create online presentations ( You should totally try it out!).

I hope you enjoy reading it๐ŸŒ...

  1. Hey Jedi,
I really like the way that you introduced the tool you were using and it's task. I think you have done a really nice job! You also have great reasoning for which animal you would prefer - I originally thought soft fur would be nicer but you have made me reconsider.
Make sure you also check out other students posts, like Venice from Hornby Primary http://hpsvenicen.blogspot.com (copy and past the link).
I would also love to know where you got the information from - maybe you could add a link?

    1. Kia Ora Miss Morgan,
first of all thanks so much for commenting. I really appreciate it. Also I am afraid I cannot put a link into this post about where I got this info from. Because I learnt this info from books, and documentaries (On Netflix ๐Ÿ˜‰).
Do you have any questions about this post?

Will make sure to check out other students blogs
      Yours kindly

    2. You are very welcome, it is nice to see some thoughtful orignial work!
Oh what a shame! It would be great if you could include the name of the documentary and the book in your post somewhere? That way people could go further if they had access to the likes of Netflix. I am very curious as to which documentary it is from - Cooper and I like to watch the documentaries from David Attenborough the 'One Planet' was very interesting.

    3. Hi Miss Morgan,

Well funnily enough I learn't a lot of facts about animals from watching 'one Planet', 'Seven worlds, one planet' and other documentaries by Sir Attenborough. I think I will add which books and documentaries I got my info from.

      Thanks for the advice
