One word... Two meanings πŸ”

WLJ- Activity 3

Helllllooooo,

Today for my 6th WLJ post I have decided to complete activity 3. My task was to talk about Homonyms. A homonym is a word with two different meanings. Like: Bark- The sound a d🐢g makes, and the out layer of a tree. Can you think of any homonyms? If you can then why don't you tell me them down in the comments below?

But for now, here is a google slide I have made on Homonyms.
I hope you enjoyπŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ’›!

  1. Hello Jedi! As you know, my name is Mia.
I love your examples, also the way that you added images of them to make it easier to understand.

Oh, just saying, I will take on your mini challenge along with the one that you have done, so if you would like to comment on my blog we might be able to get a bloggersaition going.

I remember my dad talking about it, and I never got it, untill now, I don't why, I think it was because I was quiet little then.

To improve your post (although, it really needs no improving) maybe use a different website to make it.

    Great job!
    Mia

    1. Hey Mia,
thanks so much for commenting! Sorry I wasn't able to reply sooner (as you know I have been so busy this week).

Mia thanks so much for taking up my challenge, and making a post about it on your blog. It's great to know that you have read through the whole slide. Because most people wouldn't, either because they only enjoy looking at pictures or just don't enjoy reading.
Thanks for the suggestion on presenting this a different way. But I did not do so because, all my other WLJ post had either been made on biteable, visme or google drawings. And I wanted to do something a little different.
Also did you have any questions about my post?

      Thanks for commenting

  2. Hi Jedi,

Great Homonym post. I thought you explained what they were really easily. You came up with three, could you have come up with more?

Here are a few that I've come up with: band, watch and tie.

I hope you and Mia have a blogasation. That would be so great!

Keep up the great winter blogging.
    :) Mrs Spragg
