Marvelous mufti day!

Last thursday here at Y.M.S we hada super mufti day, to raise funds for our senior Wellington camp.  It was awesome to see the different colours and styles of clothes students wore.
That thursday we raised over $300 and that was alot!
I love mufti days, do you?

They jumped out of the book! πŸ“—

These characters just leaped of the the book! So we interviewed them...

Okay so maybe they didn't jump out of the book, but we did interview them.
So as some of you might know I have been doing on novel study on a book written by Annabel Pitcher. The book is called My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece, now this book isn't one I would normally read. But after getting into the first few pages I began to really enjoy it. Have you been like that with certain other books? Or have you ever read a book you thought you would enjoy, but didn't?
Well I have but enough about that.
This week one of the activities I completed was to create an interview. I did this with my BFF Parwin, and it went great. Together we interviewed a celebrity, some of the main character's class mates and Sunya.
So here they are...

Dancing with dem Decimals⭐

Bula  Vinaka!

and welcome back to my super blog. I hope you have had an awesome day, and I hope your day becomes even greater after reading my post. Well as most of you might know every week here in rimu we must complete a homework blog task. And the task I took up today was the ninth one. I had to teach an adult in my family (Most likely one or both of my parents) a method I have been learning in maths. So I decided to talk to my dad about decimals, which is maths work I have been working on today. So far it's pretty simple, although I am expecting to eventually become a teensy bit challenging.
Do you like challenging math? Well, I do (not really πŸ˜πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜).
Here is a slide I have created about decimals, I hope you enjoy...

I disliked maths once, but now I am wearing it!

Hey there!

And welcome back to my blog. Now as some of you might know, this week was maths week. And as some of you might also know, I was in a group with parwin and Chloe we decided to create a high low dress. We drew out our plan onto an A4 sheet of paper and it was awesome! Although our dress did not turn out to be like our plan, we were super proud of it. Down below is a video I have created on biteable about our finished product. Maybe you can tell me what you think about it? Do you like it? But just remember we aren't professionals, we hand sewed everything and have never ever done this before.

So are you ready to check it out?

Marvelous Maths Week!

Hello,

And welcome back to my blog. Now, guess what...

IT'S MATHS WEEK THIS WEEK! :D

Right now the whole of rimu class is super pumped about it, but it wasn't all cupcake's and rainbows at first. When this news was first announced to Rimu, everyone had groaned and moaned about how boring it was going to be. We only became slightly interested when the teacher's announced what we would be doing. Then once we got into it became super fun, although my group did come up to a few speed bumps.
Check out this slide to how my groups work is going so far...

What would you do if your sister lived on the mantelpiece?

Kia ora!

Today for my homework post I have decided to complete the first task. My job was to write a book report on a book I have just finished. Do any of you know the book: My sister lives on the mantlepiece? Well, I do, because that is the book I have just finished. Above this text is my book report, which I have created on Google drawings. I hope you enjoy reading! πŸ‘

Out of school ^.^

Kia ora,

and welcome back to my blog :D. A few members of the Yaldhurst Model School Student Council ( My friends Julia, Chloe and I) visited Wharenui School this morning. Now you might be wondering why, well: It was because it was because we were presenting our work on emotional intelligence. Now at first we were pretty nervous, but as soon as we got into presenting it became pretty easy. Even though we only spent less an hour there, I really enjoyed it because we got to meet new people, learnt a little more sign language and got to present our awesome work on emotional intelligence (We also got a delicious hot chocolate at the end because Mr Robertson is very kind.).

Here is a video I have made about the trip, and below that is what we presented🀩.

3 WishesπŸ”…

Bula Vinaka!

Thanks so much for checking out my blog today, today for my homework blog post I have chosen to complete task three. My job was to write about three wishes of mine. I have presented them all in this slide. Now I do have a few wishes, some to 1 - benefit me. And 2- for the world we live in. And I wasn't sure whether to do the 1st or second type of wishes. So I chose to do both.
And here they are in a Canva I have made Enjoy!

Weekend blog!!!πŸšπŸ¦€

Hello bloggers!
Welcome back to my blog, I hope you are having an awesome weekend so far.
Today as you might have figured I am doing a weekend post and starting today I will try to do one every weekend. Today my weekend post is about a trip my family and I took to the beach this morning. It was so much fun:
We dug holes, made sandcastles, played run away from the wave, collected seashells, drew pictures in the sand. And even found seven fat as Huhu grubs.

Check out this slide to see a few photos...

Chloe had a little lamb, little lambπŸ‘

Hey there,

Guess what! Today rimu class had a very special guest, he bounded into school with my best friend Chloe. Beans was his name ( not the food). Beans is my best friend Chloe's pet lamb, now some of you might be wondering why he was named Beans, well. He was actually named by Chloe's older sister, because she loved baked beans πŸ€¨πŸ€©.
I personally thought he was super cute!
Here are a few photo's of him...
