Never thought of that!

Hi there,

some of you might never have thought about whether Maths was an invention or discovery. I know it's pretty random, but today that's what my homework blog post is about.
For this post I had to write about whether I thought Maths was an invention or discovery, then I had to talk about it with friends and family. This post was super easy and fun because learnt some new which I thought was pretty cool. I learnt that beginning in the 6th century BC with the Pythagoreans, the Ancient Greeks began a systematic study of mathematics. Around 300 BC, Euclid introduced the axiomatic method still used in mathematics today, consisting of definition, axiom, theorem, and proof. I know, it's super interesting right?!

I chose to present my work on google drawings, everything on this drawing I have created. And I hope you enjoy reading my work!     ༼぀ ◕◕  ༽぀

Would you call me crazy for doing this?

Kia ora
and welcome back to my blog.
And yeah, you could probably call me crazy for doing this.🀩😎
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

I invited four famous people to dinner... Okay as you might have guessed this is not totally true.
Now as some of you might have figured this is actually my homework post. Today my task was to write three letters to three famous people, now I have written to four famous people, but you will soon find out why.
I have invited Bear Grylls - Jamie Oliver and Chip & Joanna Gaines.
Have you heard of any of these people? Or have you seen any of their shows?

I have decided to present my letters on this google slide⬇
And I hope you enjoy reading them!πŸ’›πŸ’›

Our hard work paid off

Hey there ,
and welcome back to my blog.

Now as some of you might know some of my friends and I are part of this huge marathon run. The Rod Dixon's kids marathon run to be exact, which is 36.6 miles long.
We ran this 3 times a week for 14 weeks, at first it was pretty easy. But as it got colder runners became more tired, some even dropped out.
Although my friends Gracie, Julia and I  stayed strong. That's how we along with other hard workers receive our medals.
This slide is all about that.

What Monster?

Hey there,
and welcome back to my blog. Today for my homework blog post I have decided to write another book report, about a book I have just finished. The book is called 'WHAT Monster?' by Liz Pichon in the Tom Gates series. Do any of you enjoy reading Tom Gates books?

I came across this book while visiting the Halswll Library, as I passed a shelf I heard it screaming at me. So I decided to borrow it; since I hadn't yet read it.
So now that I have read it I have written this book report⬇️ which I hope you enjoy reading.

Giant snails?!

Last friday Karyn Wilson visited our classroom, Karyn is a New Zealand author. She has written two books so far one called Kereru's barbeque and her second one Peka and Koro. Have you read any of these books before?
She talked to us about the process of creating a book and answerd a few of our questions.

I personally enjoyed her visit although there were a few *photobombs (from my teacher).
During her visit I found out something pretty cool which was, when Karyn was younger she use to hate writing! I found that pretty funny.
