This is the Cardboard Cathedral, It isn't entirely made out of card. Just about 50% of it is. I made a padlet with a bit of info on it. click here to see it.

Please leave some feedback down in the comment section, on what I did well and what I should work on.
Thanks

  1. Hi Jedi,

Cadence here from the Summer Learning Journey team!

Thanks for sharing this awesome post! I love the Cardboard Cathedral! So creative! Have you ever been inside? Maybe you could include a photo of the inside so your blog readers can have a look.

Do you know what year this was built and who designed it?
I know there is a very interesting story behind this beautiful building. Could you write a short paragraph with some information on it? Can you do that for me please?

If you need any help please don’t hesitate to ask.

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Cadence :)

  2. Hey Jedi,

This is Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey blogging team :)

This is an amazing blog post and you have found such an interesting cathedral! Also, thank you for linking your padlet, I found the presentation very effective and nicely done!

I've been to Christchurch but I don't think I visited the cardboard cathedral - I wish I had! I will definitely go and see the cathedral when I have the chance to revisit Christchurch in the future! I think that it only costed $5million to build that beautiful cathedral because the cardboard would've been cheaper than other materials like wood and bricks! What do you think??

I really enjoyed reading your blog post! I hope to come back to read some more :)

    Cheers,
    Jade C.
