Activity 1: Celebrating a Win
Luscious Lovo
Lovo is one of Fiji's ways to cook food. It is food cooked in a heated earth pit. A bit like a Hangi.
Hey Jedi,
ReplyDeleteThis is Jade C from the Summer Learning Journey team. It's awesome to be here to see another amazing blog post. Did you have a good day yesterday? The SLJ blogging team got together yesterday and we talked about how wonderful you guys are with your blogging :)
This is a great presentation / google slideshow about the food that you like the most! I can see that it's a traditional Fiji food and I really want to try some even just by looking at the photograph. Lovo does look similar to hangi. Would you be able to find the difference between the two type of traditional foods?
My favourite food so far is paella. I love it because there is a mixture of seafood, vegetables, and risotto. I would love to have some right now! :)
I have enjoyed reading and commenting on your blog posts! I wish you all the best for 2018.
Jade C.
Kia ora Jade C,
DeleteThanks for commenting, And yes I did have A wonderful day yesterday. I went for a swim at our school pool.
And the only difference between Hangi and Lovo is, That in a Hangi before the food is placed on the hot rock it is put in a case. But for lovo it goes straight onto the hot rocks.
Thanks for commenting!
